The History of Lombardi Golf Classic and North Hills Country Club 

In 1971, with the support of Mrs. Marie Lombardi, members of North Hills Country Club and other civic-minded individuals held the first Annual Vince Lombardi Memorial Golf Classic. The purpose was to raise dollars for cancer research and education in memory of Coach Vincent T. Lombardi.

The VLGC is the longest running 2-day charity golf event. To date the Vince Lombardi Golf Classic, Walk, Award Of Excellence Dinner Ball, Ride for Cancer and Milwaukee Food and Wine Experience of the Vince Lombardi Charitable Funds Inc. has raised over $14 million. For over 40 years, this organization has been dedicated to raising funds focusing on cancer research, education, diagnosis, treatment and support, all in Vince's name. 



48th Annual Lombardi Golf Classic  |  JUNE 8-9, 2018

North Hills Country Club – Menomonee Falls, WI

Join the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation as we host the 48th annual Lombardi Golf Classic on June 8-9. This unforgettable, three-part event will kick off on Friday, June 8, at North Hills Country Club in Menomonee Falls with an 18-hole practice round of golf. Following a successful day of practice, golfers and guests are invited to The Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee for an evening that will include cocktails, dinner and a night of fundraising. During the program, golfers will also find out the celebrity that will join their team when they tee off Saturday morning in a 5-man scramble tournament. Celebrities will include current and former Green Bay Packers players, athletes and professionals. Awards and a cocktail reception will conclude this year’s event.
